Digital College® Service Pack 3.0 is available for download at http://www.mkcl.org/dcupdates
You are requested to install the same at your Digital College Software Machine.
Install the updates in following order:
The Colleges where Digital College is running with Service Pack 2.0 is already installed:
1. Dot Net Framework 3.5 SP1 (Run the link kept in the txt file in Internet Explorer or any browser)
2. DigitalCollegeV2PortalServicePack3.0.msi
3. DigitalCollegeV2SmartClientServicePack3.0.msi
4. DigitalCollegeV2CCaNaDServicePack3.0.msi
For the new college software installation or CD Re—installation please maintain following sequence:
1. DigitalCollegeV2PortalServicePack2.0.msi
2. DigitalCollegeV2SmartClientServicePack2.0.msi
3. DigitalCollegeV2CCaNaDServicePack2.0.msi
4. Dot Net Framework 3.5 SP1 (Run the link kept in the txt file in Internet Explorer or any browser)
5. DigitalCollegeV2PortalServicePack3.0.msi
6. DigitalCollegeV2SmartClientServicePack3.0.msi
7. DigitalCollegeV2CCaNaDServicePack3.0.msi
The main features included in the service pack are:
1. Restructuring of Portal Management
2. Admission to Another Course (Resolve the issue of Courses with multiple Branches)
3. Re Admission to Another Course (Resolve the issue of Courses with multiple Branches)
4. Prerequisite checking for Second Semester admission (If first Semester admission is not confirmed or uploaded)
5. Online Admission Student Data Synchronization
6. Cancel Admission Data Synchronization
7. Merge Profile or Delete Profile Data Synchronization
8. Disability of admission to the courses whose Patterns are marked as Closed or expired
